Capcom has announced that they will be bringing two classic 2D fighters to both XBLA and PSN in September Marvel vs. Capcom Origins will be a compilation of two of the most popular arcade games in the 90's. Gamers will be able to fight their way through the rosters of both Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, once the game finally launches. Origins is set to offer up a wide range of features including: an HD graphics overhaul, online play with 8-player lobbies, dynamic challenges, unlockables, and even replay saving. Classic fighting fans are certainly in for a treat if they've been dying to get their hands on some classic fighting action. With Marvel vs. Capcom 2 already on the downloadable marketplace, it will be interesting to see how many decide to pick up Origins. Capcom has already revealed that the Xbox LIVE Arcade edition will cost 1200 Microsoft points and run $14.99 on the Playstation network. By now you're probably curious to see the game in action. Luckily, Capcom has released the first trailer for the game, which you can watch below! http://youtu.be/zM8Ga--dcAI It's great to see a classic game being brought back to life on consoles, but it makes me wonder if there could ever be an overdose of Marvel Vs. Capcom on the market. With the recent speculation that a Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Uncanny Edition could be a reality, the existence of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2, when does it all end? Although, there's surely someone in the world, somewhere, rolling around in their copies of Marvel vs. Capcom as they toss them in the air out of pure bliss. Why they aren't playing them I'm not sure, but the point is that they can never get enough MvC. You get it. Will you be picking up Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, or are they just suckering people out of their money? Let us know your thoughts on the recent announcement in comments below. Source: Marvel
