Capcom To Announce Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3: Uncanny Edition At Evo 2012?

The new package will include new characters, modes and new modes for certain characters.

We are only two days away from EVO and rumours are already heating up. There are fresh reports that Marvel Versus Capcom, the uber popular character cross-over fighting game series, will reveal another edition at the event. Called the Uncanny edition, the new package will include new characters, modes and new modes for certain characters. Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3: Uncanny Edition will be available for $15 next month, with the disc based version surfacing in September $40. According to reports, four new characters are going to make their introductions. Old School favorite's Mega Man and Servbot will join the cast, but joining them are Cyclops and Ant-Man. All of these characters have appeared before in the Marvel Versus Capcom series and it's really not surprising that they are going to be available. Along with new characters, the game is also getting two new modes: Survival and Time Attack, however the timing is a bit awkward. Capcom already released a limited edition for the series, covering additional content added to the series when it went to the PS Vita. As of right now this is cold rumor, but we should get more info on this new edition when Evo starts on Friday. Source: The Silent Chief
