The Canadian developer Silicon Knights has suffered massive layoffs that will end any chance of another triple-A game being made by them. Apparently they have cut their staff from 97 to 25 employees and are now operating with a bare bones unit; however none of this has been confirmed yet. If you don't remember Silicon Knights are responsible for some big name games, most recently they released X-Men: Destiny a title that fell short of its' massive potential. They were also responsible for the 2002 GameCube game Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, a very well respected success, that a lot of people were hopeful a sequel would be made for. Finally Silicon Knights was responsible for one of the most hyped games of this generation that didn't turn out so well Too Human. The game was supposed to set up a grand trilogy but the game was delayed multiple times and when finally released was panned by critics and most fans. Are any of you out there disappointed that we will most likely not get sequels to any of these games?
