Max Payne 3 Local Justice DLC Gets Release Date & Launch Trailer

It appears that the wait for brand new Max Payne 3 multiplayer content is going to be well worth it.

Local Justice Pack, will be available for download on July 3rd for both Xbox 360 and PS3. A PC version will launching shortly after on July 17th. This follows the recent patchwork that Rockstar implemented into the game which brought several gameplay tweaks and fixes. Local Justice Pack will bring three brand new maps for Max Payne 3 multiplayer, and features area's from last levels of the campaign. In addition to the new maps for Bullet Time chaos, Rockstar is offering a new assault rifle, a new item to equip, and an entirely new faction to play as. As is the standard now with DLC offerings they will also be bringing new Achievements, Trophies, and Social Club accomplishments. Here's the full list of multiplayer additions: € 55th Battalion HQ map for all game modes € Imperial Palace and Departure Lounge maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer € Light Fingers Item for faster looting € M4 Assault Rifle with attachments € São Paulo Police Faction with related avatar customization options Many fans that have been eagerly anticipating the release date are well aware that Rockstar originally announced the content to release in June. Since the content is now set to launch in July, Rockstar will be offering the content during launch week for the discounted price of 480 Microsoft Points, or $5.99 on PSN and PC. It's a nice little reward for the loyal fans that have yet to assault the Rockstar offices with torches n' pitchforks. http://youtu.be/QJlPu2pQ_8I After launch week, the content will raise to its normal price of 640 MP, or $7.99 on PSN and PC. If you plan on picking up all of the content, you might want to invest in the Rockstar Pass which grants you access to all DLC at launch for free. The pass will run you 2400 MP, or $29.99 on PSN and PC. It was also announced that all pre-order and retail DLC content will be available for purchase the same day as The Local Justice Pack for the system of choice.
