This week's E3 conference in LA has been a veritable treasure trove of information and revelations on what we can expect to be playing over the next 24 months or so on all generations of consoles, but despite the fanfare around the big reveals such as Halo 5 or Littlebigplanet 3, a lot of focus was aimed squarely at those games revealed in the lead up to the event and one of the biggest hitters (literally) was the long awaited Mortal Kombat X.We wrote about the trailer that was rushed out last week here after a leak from a retailer and the assumption from the internet is that the trailer was supposed to be premièred at E3 during the Sony conference. With the cat well and truly out of the bag, NetherRealm Studios did the best thing they could by showing off the game actually running. Not only did they show the traditional Sub Zero/Scorpion duel but they also showed two brand new characters knocking each other around an arena as well as some of the fantastic new fight mechanics. While details have been sparse about the new game since the reveals, there is plenty that can be taken from the gameplay reveal and it acts to expand upon the brief hints the original trailer presented us last week. So prepare yourself (and your lunch) for five killer things that we learned about MKX.
