Red Dead Rebellion. Red Dead Revolution. Red Dead Reloaded. Whatever Rockstar ultimately calls it, the third installment in the Red Dead series has a lot of hopes to fulfill and expectations to live up to. Though it kicked off in 2004 with the release of Red Dead Revolver, it wasn't until the release of 2010's big second entry, Red Dead Redemption, that the series was truly put on the map, garnering an astounding amount of critical praise and giving rise to a legion of fans eagerly awaiting what comes next, nearly five years later. With a stellar campaign and an engrossing online component, Red Dead Redemption soared on both fronts, setting a bar not just for its inevitable successor but for other Rockstar games too, including Grand Theft Auto V. Through the passage of time however, you can easily step back and assess where and how the game could be improved upon going forward; whether that's through the ironing out of issues it might have had or by keeping in mind lessons Rockstar has learned from GTA V since that game's release. As we continue to wait for concrete news about the future of the series, let's take a look at 10 features, big and small, whose inclusion in the game could effectively assist in helping Red Dead 3 live up to and surpass the benchmark of its predecessor.
