Bethesda

Elder Scrolls games are some of the largest and deepest worlds ever created, often chock-full of hidden secrets and mechanics. With a vast assortment of places to explore and things to discover, the games are often called some of the best to exist, period, with Skyrim receiving that accolade very frequently.

And while Bethesda do a stellar job creating an engaging and fantastical world for players to explore, it’s the vast modding community that have made the game so worthwhile to play continuously. Adding new locations, armours and weapons, modders can improve the game drastically and give players even more world to explore, with some mods containing enough content to function as a standalone title.

Even though we trust Bethesda to make Elder Scrolls VI even better than Skyrim, there are still a few lessons they can learn from modders and even some mechanics and ideas that need to be included. With that in mind, I will be delving into the sea of mods that exist and finding 10 Skyrim mods that must be included in the Elder Scrolls VI.

10. Khajiit Speak

Bethesda

The Khajiit are one of the most interesting races to ever populate Tamriel, and are one of the more entertaining to play as. From a unique backstory to their lore regarding moon cycles and their birth, the Khajiit are incredibly interesting.

This mod overhauls the entirety of the player dialogue and replaces it with lore-friendly, Khajiit style language. Offering the opportunity for those playing Khajiit characters to really give their playthrough that unique flair, the mod really captures the essence of the race. Retaining the humour of the Khajiit, the mod manages to really make the dialogue not only fit their style, but also the world really well, too.

When playing through normally, having the exact same dialogue regardless of race can be jarring, especially when different NPC’s of different races have their own unique racial way of speaking. By implementing a similar system to Khajiit speak, Bethesda could make the game a whole lot more immersive and really boost the role-playing side of the game. It would take a little effort to write the dialogue, but it would be worth it.
