What Every Monster Hunter World Player Thinks Of Every Monster Hunter World Boss

Of course Pickle is the best monster, right?

Knowing their fanbase well, Capcom stuffed Monster Hunter: World to the brim with a whole bunch of monsters to fight. Teaming up with your fellow hunters to chase and slay your quarry, carving it up for parts and using those parts to aid in your survival in the open wild. Ah... there's nothing quite like it!

It helps that Monster Hunter: World is the most accessible game in the series yet. Gone are the weird paint balls and in their place are fireflies that show you precisely where to go.

With so many monsters to hunt, every player has an opinion on which ones are fun fights that they'd try again and again until the end of time, and which monsters want to make them scream so loud it disturbs the neighbours.

We'll be saving the monsters that became available in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for another list, but don't worry. That still means that, including the free update monsters that came before the expansion, there are thirty-five monsters to go through. Strap yourself in, this one's going to be a long ride.

35. Great Jagras

Great Jagras is the first monster anyone playing Monster Hunter: World will face. People either fight it a few times to get all the parts for their first full set of armour, or people fight it as a way of farming zenny - the game's currency.

When compared to the rest of the monsters in the game, Great Jagras is relatively unique, but it's a monster you fight very early on and so is quite forgettable. It's also a monster that's, rather ironically, eaten by the much larger monsters of the Ancient Forest.
