Masterpieces, all of them.

Dave Grohl; a man of many talents. An award-winning songwriter and general master of the charts with Nirvana and Foo Fighters, an underground cult hero with Scream and the man who bands hope will just happen to walk in to the studio they're in and want to drum for them (here's looking at you RDGLDGRN). He's guest-starred in a lot of tracks as well as being an integral part of the writing process in others; from the previously mentioned Nirvana and Foo Fighters to Queens of the Stone Age and even Tenacious D - alongside cameos for artists like David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Iggy Pop and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers to name a few. His professional career into music began on the form of the instrument he is best at; drums. At 17, he joined Washington DC underground favourites Scream and immediately grabbed peoples' attention. When they disbanded, he asked a mutual friend for advice and was turned on to a band called Nirvana, themselves looking for a drummer. The rest is history. Fred Armisen, actor, once said that every part Grohl drummed was 'a masterpiece', and it's difficult to argue with him. But just what are Grohl's best drum performances? There's a lot to choose from, and it's time to find out.
