There are many versions of 'Sex' floating around, but it's been re-worked (again) as the lead single from The 1975's eponymous debut album. The band rose to prominence following the success of 'Chocolate', an upbeat track detailing drug use, in the same way that How I Met Your Mother refers to smoking cannabis as "eating a sandwich". It's a solid track, but 'Sex' is much grittier, heavier and generally well crafted. The song belongs on the radio and in arenas, with its strong vocals, catchy riffs and widespread appeal. It screams attention, something which it rightfully deserves. Despite not experiencing much success upon its initial release in 2012, 'Sex' is destined to impact the charts this time around.
