The measure of a truly great TV title sequence is whether or not you actually bother to watch it every time.

While countless shows feature dull and overlong credits sequences which most viewers haven't seen more than one or twice - looking at you, Orange Is the New Black - series like The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, and Stranger Things will have fans voluntarily sitting through them every single time.

But a stylish, iconic opening sequence is one thing. Sometimes, showrunners will go the extra mile by including sneaky references and Easter eggs to reward those patient viewers who actually slog it out through the credits.

These 10 TV show intros all featured blink-and-you'll-miss-it gags and ultra-nerdy callouts you'd need to be insanely attentive to have even a chance of spotting.

And given that some of them were only introduced mid-way through their series' run, they also encourage fans to actually bother watching the credits every time to see how much things are varied up.
