We've got a few official reports from the offices of JJ Abrams as his upcoming Star Wars Episode VII gears up for production, news on what directors like Andy Serkis, Marc Webb, and Sofia Coppola are up to, an exciting possibility for Ghostbusters 3, and some movement on that superhero universe Fox is building around X-Men and Fantastic Four. Without further ado, let's jump right into it, shall we?

10. First Look At CGI Peanuts Film

Good grief. Hollywood has a habit of taking the things we loved in childhood and ruining them, and the next beloved property on the chopping block is Peanuts. The beloved comic strip has been made into several TV specials (that have since become holiday staples), but this is the first foray into 3D CGI animation. I don't mean to be completely negative, and am actually holding out hope that this film turns out alright. To Blue Sky Studios' credit, they've managed to give the film a unique animation style reminiscent of the strip, and Craig Shulz (the son of Peanturs creator Charles Schulz) is producing, so there is hope. The trailer below has proven to be pretty divisive, as I imagine the final product will be when it hits theaters in 2015.
