10 Worst TV Shows Of 2022

The year's worst shows are a rough bunch to get through.

2022 has been a very messy year, and its output of TV has been no different. For the most part, the shows released over the last twelve months have been excellent, but for every great series, there's been a dire misfire waiting to take its place.

Such is the case with the following shows, which unfortunately represent the worse this year has had to offer. These shows aren't without their merits -- few are -- but the bad heavily outweighs the good, which with many of them is maddening considering their obvious potential.

From smug superhero duds to tired comedies, exploitative biopics and exhausting action-thrillers, these shows are drained of life by poor and lazy writing, low humour, unimaginative drama and one-dimensional characters. They're not all unforgivable (though a couple are), but they're hard to defend, too.

With that in mind, then, here are the 10 worst TV shows of 2022. You'd do well to stay away...

10. She-Hulk: Attorney-At-Law

Look, I get it: She-Hulk did something new and fresh for the MCU, and it won a lot of people over. But it's not good. In fact, it's very far from it.

Whilst Tatiana Maslany is on fine form as Jennifer Walters and its timely humour (in small doses) works well, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is derailed by its clunky, off-kilter writing, troubling pace issues, forced fan service and ugly, unfinished CGI.

A show that has no clear idea of what it wants to be, She-Hulk throws everything at the wall to see what sticks, and though some does, from Charlie Cox's return as Daredevil to Jennifer's empowering character growth, most of its falls into a pit of half-baked ideas and rushed storylines.

And that's without mentioning its maddeningly smug finale, which cameos Kevin Feige and pokes fun at Marvel's poor treatment of its VFX artists. It's a distasteful move, but it sums the show up brilliantly.
