13 Problems Only Game Of Thrones Fans Will Understand

You know nothing, people who don't watch the show.

To some people, Game of Thrones is just a TV show. Even weirder, some of those people might not even watch it. Yeah, I don't understand either; their lives must be so empty/free of pain and misery. To those who do watch it, Thrones is far more. It is an all-encompassing world that has been created before our very eyes, in which we get to watch the events unfold but are also completely immersed in as well. Over the course of five books and five seasons the world of Westeros and beyond has transcended page and screen to become a cultural phenomenon, with a huge fanbase desperately trying their best to balance reading the books/watching the show with keeping their emotions in check, and even going as far as closely studying one actor's hairstyle for potential spoilers. There isn't much that gets the internet as excited as Game of Thrones (except maybe cats, and the show even has those as well), nor ignites it in such fury at the same time. It isn't always easy to watch, in fact more often than not it's really difficult, but that's just a part of what makes it so great, and keeps people coming back. As production gets underway on season 6, and rumours of George R.R. Martin actually finishing The Winds of Winter at some point ever continue, these are the problems only fans of the series will understand.
