9 Problems With Doctor Who No One Wants To Admit

Thinking outside the big blue box.

Doctor Who is one of the biggest and most popular franchises on TV but its number one fan (of which there are around approximately 70 million) couldn't deny the fact that not even the ongoing escapades of their beloved Time Lord are always undeniably perfect. Generally speaking, though, it's the best thing since sliced bread. The show's format is so far reaching that there's pretty much something for everybody to enjoy, which also means that, in equal measure, there's something for everybody to utterly detest, too. And boy, don't they let you know about it when something does get them going! Even the good Doctor himself can't please everybody (but trust us, he really does try!) and a show that's as hotly discussed, analysed and scrutinised as this one is always going to come up against criticism. Suffice to say, Doctor Who has faced its fair share of it throughout its half a century in operation and sometimes the negativity spawns from within its own fandom. You wouldn't like a Doctor Who fan when they're angry and your safest bet would be to avoid using social media and find some form of cover as soon as something kicks off that riles the show's ever growing community of dedicated followers. Seriously. As vocal as Doctor Who fans are, though, there's some problems with their favourite show that even they can't bring themselves to speak out loud. Here are 9 such examples of problems with Doctor Who that seemingly no one wants to admit. Until today.
