Arrow Season 2: 5 Reasons To Be Excited

By Edan Nissen /

CW's attempt at making a Television series out of comic book hero Green Arrow has seemed to have a polarising effect on audiences. It seems that they either love the show and then tend to introduce it to other people, or they hate it. Even as a fan of the show, I can see why people may not like it. Arrow is essentially a serialised version of the Nolan Batman Trilogy. However while the Batman movies series had fantastic acting, from Ledger's incredible performance as the Joker, to Michael Caine delivering a series of golden performances in his performances as Albert, Arrow has brought in relatively new faces to the game, including Canadian Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, David Ramsey as Oliver's sidekick and Body man John Diggle, while their performances are great, they cannot compare to the acting talents of Caine, Bale and Freeman who have been around much longer. However, with the show returning for a second season quiet soon, there are plenty of reasons why people should be giving the show a chance as the writers build on solid foundations for the first season in a show that has already established itself with a hardcore fan base who are quiet dedicated to the show, fans will hope that it can retain and build upon the quality. There are plenty of reasons to believe the hype and show that this show is going to go from strength to strength in the future seasons.
