This season of Arrow has obliterated the show's status quo. Opening with the incarceration of the Green Arrow himself, Oliver Queen, there have been countless unexpected twists and turns as the story progressed, with old faces returning to exact revenge as new players entered the fray to change things up. This week's installment, 'Brothers & Sisters' continued that trend in rather unforgettable fashion.

The episode primarily focused on the show's two long-lost sibling relationships as, in the present, Oliver Queen attempted to show his newfound sister Emiko that he could be trusted while, in the flash-forwards, his son William attempted to bond with his newfound sister Mia Smoak. While both of these produced some promising results for the show's overall narrative, they ended up being overshadowed by the episode's closing moments which provided us with two completely unexpected twists.
