Better Call Saul: 10 Season 6 Fan Theories (That Could Come True)

It shouldn't have worked, it had no reason to work, but work it did and five seasons later we're enthralled by just how the twisted tale of Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman/Gene Takavic will come to its end.
How Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould built Better Call Saul from the ground up, whilst leaning into Breaking Bad but at the same time not going anywhere near the original show's principal narrative, is astonishing. Here, there are no solid mentions of Walter White or Jesse Pinkman (yet), there is just the world of Albuquerque, New Mexico and the toiling mess of its brutal underworld.
It took us five seasons to get the complete transformation from Jimmy to Saul, but his arrival has heralded in the endgame for the show.
But, where will that take us? There are so many potential end points and questions surrounding whether fans will see Saul during the time of Breaking Bad, or whether Gene's future story is the real endgame. There are so many possibilities, so let's look at some of the theories and their chances of being true.
10. Howard Kills Himself
This one really seems like it will end up one way. At the beginning of the series, HHM was the big nasty company that Jimmy was fighting against in his quest to be recognised by his big brother Chuck. After Chuck died, Jimmy learned the truth about everything and mostly moved on from his dealings with HHM and, as a result, it has taken a backseat in Better Call Saul's focus.
That being said, there is still one thing that HHM has that Jimmy wants - his share of the Sandpiper money.
A seven-figure sum would be the perfect start-up fund for Goodman, and what we know is his future mini-empire. In the final scenes of Season Five, we see Jimmy and Kim begin working on a plan to force Howard into settling the case and therefore delivering the cash sooner.
For his part, Howard was always an unwitting bit part who has been manipulated by both Chuck and Jimmy over the years. He's not a bad guy as it turns out, but he is probably not destined to walk off down the yellow brick road at the end. Which, when you consider what he has already had to go through, means that once Jimmy and Kim are finished with him and HHM, Howard's mental state may be too much for him to bear.
