Daredevil Season 3: 8 Big Questions We Need Answers To

Things got a little sidetracked in Daredevil Season 2. When the titular hero wasn't dealing with The Punisher, he was dealing with The Hand and both of these storylines eventually found their rightful place in other Marvel series - The Defenders and The Punisher.
Now, though, Matt Murdock can now live his highly perilous life free of distraction... Almost. The ultimate showdown between Daredevil and Kingpin has begun, with both sides bent on blood and revenge. And just to throw a spanner in the works, another iconic Daredevil heel has shown up in the form of Bullseye. Anyone with a morsel of knowledge on Bullseye knows that this is seriously bad news, so the blind attorney faces greater threats than ever before.
Nobody quite knows whether or not this will be the last Daredevil series. It certainly seems that way given how high the stakes are raised. And that means that the time has come to tie up all the loose ends and bring resolve to the plot-points left hanging since the last time Matt Murdock donned the mask... Be it red or otherwise.
8. Where Exactly Did Matt Murdock Wake Up?
Technically, we didn't have to wait long to find out Matt Murdock's fate following his last battle in The Defenders. After Daredevil's epic duel with Elektra underneath a collapsing skyscraper, the Defenders ensemble could only assume with relative certainty that Daredevil was permanently out of action. However, viewers at home had the greater privilege of seeing Murdock wake up sore, and bandaged up on a bed surrounded by nuns. If anything it looked rather a cosy setup.
It also seemed kind of apt as the blind attorney was a frequent visitor to the local church and its confession box. Only fitting then that his deliverance from evil was at the hands of some loyal holy servants.
But this fleeting scene does not reveal the location of his mysterious sanctuary. Is he in New York, or somewhere else? Also, how the heck did he end up there? Did he survive the falling rubble via his own wits or did an outside member step in to help? It begs lots of questions. But luckily, viewers should find out the answers right at the start.
