On March 31st, How I Met Your Mother came to an end after a nine year run to contend with Friends and Cheers for a place in the sitcom history books. Whether you liked the twisty finale or not, it's undeniable that How I Met Your Mother delivered on its nine year wait to see Ted and The Mother finally together, and wrap up all of the story-lines that occurred along the way, giving everyone of the main characters a solid end. As we had already seen in the series, Marshall ends up a Supreme Court Judge with Lily by his side and (at least) three children, and the other characters are all given final, life-long stories in this final double-episode. And here, in chronological order, is how it delivered on everything else...
