The Boys Season 3: 10 Biggest WTF Moments

We'll never recover from that Termite scene.

The Boys' ability to shock viewers is second to none. When we saw A-Train reduce Robin to a bloody smear or Homelander leave the passengers of Flight 37 to die, we were beyond horrified.

After watching a superheroine smush someone to death with her ass, Homelander's obsession with lactation, or Love Sausage's love sausage, you'd assume viewers would've gotten a little desensitised. I mean, what can Season 3 of The Boys possibly throw at us that we haven't already seen?

But from the get-go, the latest season of this Amazon exclusive proves it still has the power to drop jaws and make viewers avert their eyes in disgust. You think you've gotten used to the vulgarity? You haven't. You believe you've seen the worst the Supes have to offer? Trust me. They're only getting started.

It's not just the gore and sexual perversity that's been dialled up, it's the show's ability to catch viewers off-guard, too. Due to its hilarious cameos, and mind-blowing twists, and extreme close-ups of genitalia, Season 3 of The Boys has got to have the most WTF moments yet.

10. Goodbye, Timothy

After Starlight outed her teammate, The Deep, as a sexual predator, his career was was left in tatters, forcing him to leave The Seven.

But thanks to the wonders of PR, the protector of the seas was reinvented as a loving husband to his wife, Cassandra, who was instrumental in his comeback. With his ratings never higher and pulling in four million hits on Instagram daily, it looked like The Deep had secured his place in The Seven once more.

To celebrate, Homelander invited his teammate to dinner... where they served seafood.

And it wasn't just any seafood. Homelander encouraged The Deep to eat his pet, friend, and occasional lover, Timothy the octopus.

As horrific as it would be for anyone to eat an animal alive, it's more torturous for The Deep since he can communicate with all marine creatures. Even though The Deep can hear Timothy begging for his life, he knows he can't refuse Homelander and so, wolfs down his multi-limbed buddy. As you watch the poor mollusc clamp his tentacles around The Deep's face, trying not to be eaten, you can't help feeling green around the gills.
