The birth of a new Firestorm and the emergence of Zoom have largely dominated the plot of Season 2 so far. Its still exciting to wonder how those storylines will continue on but in the wake of the action-packed Legends Of Today, its hard to focus on that, especially when the central plot of the episode revolves around an immortal madman hunting down a reincarnated Egyptian princess. Last year's crossover episodes with Arrow felt like two separate adventures where the heroes helped each other out, but this year, its a different story. The Flash treated us to Part 1 of this expanded epic, starring the likes of Team Arrow, Vandal Savage, and even the League of Assassins. That was one of the most jam-packed episodes of The Flash is a long while and it showed the potential of a shared CW Universe.Damien Darhk is impressed by the Flash, Diggle still cant handle going fast, and Thea is just surprised to learn that they even know him. Even without a real ending, this may have been the best Flash episode of the year. Thankfully, unlike most weeks, it doesnt appear well have to wait long to get some answers. So while certain Flash-specific plot lines concerning Barry and Pattys relationship and Zooms lingering presence arent likely to be immediately answered in Part 2, theres a lot of other elements still up in the air, so of course were left with a lot of questions.
