10. Where Was Iris?
In general, its a good practice for a show to cut a character from an episode if theyre going to have nothing to do as they would just detract from the proceedings with unnecessary storylines. Of course, in an episode overflowing with characters, its hard to justify leaving out The Flashs second-billed character in Iris. Shes with the team while Barry expresses his concern about the ancient knives that Savage was wielding and then... nothing. Its understandable that she didnt accompany Barry to Star City but surely she could have at least been hanging out with Caitlin and Wells, or at the very least, showed up after Wells had been shot. Iriss characterization in the first season was one of the shows biggest flaws but its been steadily improving. She feels like a more integrated part of the group whos actually contributing something, so to excise her almost completely from her own show feels a little harsh.
