Team Flash's season-long attempts to take down the murderous Cicada took an interesting turn this week as they tried to approach the matter from a different angle. Following on from Barry's suggestion of waking up Orlin Dwyer's niece Grace last week, 'Memorabilia' saw the S.T.A.R. Labs troupe of superheroes utilise Sherloque Wells' memory machine in an attempt to do just that.

In theory, it may have sounded like the perfect solution to their Cicada problem, but the possibility of a glitch that would allow her father to walk through her own memories just didn't sit too well with Nora West-Allen, who took it upon herself to try out the machine on her own. Of course, her plan went horribly wrong, resulting in her parents having to go into Grace's consciousness after her.

Elsewhere, Ralph's harmless attempts to help Cisco unwind proved to be surprisingly fruitful while Iris struggled with the realisation that her predicted future was falling into place (or was it?).

All in all, 'Memorabilia' employed some interesting devices in an attempt to naturally progress the story, intertwining both of the season's main storylines nicely. Though it wasn't perfect, it was an all-round enjoyable adventure that hooked us right to the very end.
