White Collar Season 5: 5 Things We Can Expect

By Nicole Dawn Emrikson /

A new season of White Collar is upon us. I am super excited for everything coming up, and I wanted to take a chance to throw out a couple of thoughts while I eagerly await the weeks to come. No earth-shattering news in this post, just one happy fan's take on what in store for us all.

5. A Kooky Plan to Get Peter Out of Jail

I know, a bit of an obvious start, but it is definitely something to look forward to this season. However it works, it is their biggest scheme to date, and bound to involve all kinds of resources from both Peter and Neal's spheres of influence. We already know Elle is on board the minute Neal has a viable plan, whatever the cost, thanks to this scene from the premiere... I am looking forward to a Burke's-Seven-style coming together€”though with Sara now out of the picture in London, and Peter essentially powerless€”I suppose they would be closer to the Burke's Five. I left Peter in the picture because he is not going to let a jail cell stop him getting involved. Perhaps Hughes will round out things as the seventh member, thoughts anyone? I just hope this one is not wrapped up too quickly though season starts of White Collar are notorious for pushing the plot even further forward. Whether this plot element is drawn out over several weeks or resolved in an episode we know the effects will ripple throughout the rest of the season.
