Sometimes, two men hate each other so much that a regular one on one match isn't enough to settle the score between them. Sometimes, so much bad blood has built up that the only way to settle things, once and for all, is to honk a horn hanging from a moving truck. What, you were expecting a steel cage? We've seen lots of gimmick matches in wrestling history -- some, like Cage Matches or First Blood Matches, come into play when hatred between competitors boils over and true violence is necessary to settle an issue. Others, like Ladder Matches, are designed to add an even greater element of athleticism to the proceedings, and as such, create a spectacle that fans will remember forever. When used correctly, stipulation matches can mean legendary moments and big money. Unfortunately, sometimes writers and bookers get a little too creative. Sometimes, the rules of a match become more and more convoluted and the execution doesn't deliver. Sometimes, ideas are just bad.
