2014 has been an interesting year for WWE. Theyve seen some pretty great highs, like the debut of Sting and the phoenix like rise of NXT, and theyve seen some serious lows, such as Punk walking out and the several week streak of sub par Monday Night Raws early in the fall. You can dwell on the negatives or take solace in the positives, and positivity, as Ryback said on Monday Night, is the key to manifesting a better tomorrow. Gimmicks are an essential part of wrestling and the WWE has their fair share of gimmicky characters. Not every superstar in World Wrestling Entertainment's weekly traveling circus can be a fully developed character with an extensive backstory, motivations and conflicts (as much as we'd like more of them to be).
