This was a surprising entry on this list, because everything he was doing on TV leading up to him joining Team Cena the Raw before Survivor Series wreaked of awfulness. Having him as the last minute replacement for Sheamus on Team Cena really changed things for the brute dubbed Big Red. The character is an idiot savant. He is someone who looks uncouth, uncivilized, and undisciplined, but has cultivated several skills over the years with relative ease. It was hard not to at least guffaw when it was revealed that Rowan had an IQ of 143, was a world class vintner and classical acoustic guitarist and has a knack for easily solving Rubiks cubes. Its absurd but kind of brilliant, as the idiot savant is a fun character to introduce into the fictional universe that is the WWE. The next step is to have him pick up new skills and talents as the months progress, further cementing that he is one of the most gifted talents in the WWE, at least in terms of learning new things. Also have him lose the sheep mask, because that is too steeped in Wyatt Family mythology. Erick is creating his own mythology now.
