The last ten years have given us some amazing teams in WWE, but which are the best of the best?

It's common knowledge that Vince McMahon hates tag teams and there's been plenty of evidence of that over the last decade.

Tag wrestling has seemingly been neglected more and more with every passing year, as titles continuously lose value and popular tag teams get broken up on an almost monthly basis.

However, despite Vince's best efforts, there have been some excellent tag teams in WWE since 2010. Whilst the championships they've been fighting over are the WWE equivalent of penny candy at this point, teams have been putting insane effort into putting on great matches and capturing the audience's attentions.

Whilst legendary tag teams like The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz have performed with WWE during during the last decade, their best work took place years before and they didn't shape this decade's tag team scene like the teams mentioned in this list. So there will be no mention of them, sadly.

So, let's reach for the tag rope and forget who the legal man is, as we take a look at the ten best tag teams of the last ten years.

10. The Real Americans

We begin with a team that are often ranked amongst the best to never win tag team gold in WWE.

Jack Swagger and Cesaro were put together under the watchful eye of Zeb Colter, portrayed by the legendary Dutch Mantel. Colter's character was that of an all-American patriot who despised illegal immigrants and even drew mainstream attention for his portrayal of a right-wing stereotype.

Colter acquired the talents of Swagger, whose gimmick at the time was also a patriot, and Cesaro, who was playing an America-loving legal immigrant. The team of "The Real Americans" (including the 51st State of Switzerland) started performing together in the summer of 2014 at a time when tag team wrestling was even more neglected than it is now. For context, six months after The Real Americans debuted, the tag team championships were won by The New Age Outlaws. Yes, THOSE New Age Outlaws.

Swagger and Cesaro's combination of power, technical prowess, and fluid tandem offence got a lot of fans re-interested in tag team wrestling and their rather unusual gimmick of patriotic heels was something fans had never seen before.

They may never have been tag champs and they may have split up after less than a year, but this is still a team that many fans have admiration for.
