10 Best WWE Tag Teams Of The 2010s
9. The Bar
Two entries, two partners for Cesaro. Not bad for The Swiss Superman.
During the summer of 2016, Sheamus and Cesaro were embroiled in a best of seven series with the winner promised a championship match. In a rather predictable twist, the final match in the series ended in a draw, so both men were owed a title shot. Or neither were, depending on how you see your glass.
Raw GM, Mick Foley, got around this problem by putting Cesaro and Sheamus together as a tag team. Over the next few months, they would go up against The New Day, the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time, before eventually unseating them at Roadblock: End of the Line.
The Bar would hold tag team gold on four different occasions, often occupying the role of the division's top heel act following their turn in 2017.
Their unique combination offence, hard-hitting style, and excellent chemistry with a number of top tag teams mean that this team have left a huge mark on this era of tag wrestling.
The team seems to be broken up now, as Sheamus is out with a potentially career-ending injury. However, The Bar was definitely a team that ran its course and a reunion, should it happen, would only hamper the singles careers of two fantastic performers.
