Piecing together an excellent pro wrestling match must be difficult, but putting on a horrible one is almost an art in itself. Throughout wrestling history, there have - thankfully - been so many amazing bouts put on by some of the best performers in the industry. Unfortunately, some of those same men and women haven't always hit the proverbial home run, and end up stinking out arenas across the globe as a result. There are varying reasons for why some matches just don't work. Perhaps the story leading into the showdown just didn't click with fans, or maybe the wrestlers involved were simply incompatible with one another. On other occasions, things have just conspired against those wrestling the match, and it turns out horrendous when it really should have been good. The title of this article should give fans some indication that the latter point raised there doesn't really come into play. Many of the bouts featured here were never going to be classics. For some of them however, they shouldn't have been as bad as they were. Botched spots, tepid crowd reactions and people who had no business trying to wrestle all add up to make this quite the mix of bowling shoe ugly nonsense.
