10 Great WWE Matches Brock Lesnar Missed Out On

Lesnar was set to dominate the WWE for a decade.

Brock Lesnar was one of the WWE's biggest ever projects. Ultimately, he has ended up still being a huge part of the company, but it remains a fact that his peak years were spent outside of the WWE. He missed out on some really exciting matches by leaving WWE in 2004, just two years after his Raw debut. From 2004 until his return in 2012, he was pursuing other ventures. He hated the travelling involved in pro wrestling, so he decided to try out for the NFL. When that didn't work, he returned to wrestling in Japan, before pursuing a career in MMA. The rest is history. He ended up becoming a UFC Champion and to this day is their biggest box office draw in UFC history. The WWE took notice of his pay per view numbers and forgave his past sins, bringing him back to pro wrestling with a megadeal and headlining star status. But it is still a shame when you consider what could've been had Lesnar stayed with WWE in 2004. Vince McMahon was personally crushed at Lesnar's decision to leave after WrestleMania 20, as he had put a lot of money, creative and overall faith in the star. Lesnar was meant to be what John Cena was in this past decade. He was meant to be the man. Here's some of what was lined up for him had he stayed in WWE.
