WWE is a company which demands change - given that the promotion shoot television shows 52 weeks out of the year, there needs to be a few hirings and firings, or at least a bit of rotation with the roster. It's never good when somebody loses their job, that much is certain, but it's understandable that Vince McMahon and his top-brass would want to shake things up from time to time. At least, that's the way it should work. Sadly, WWE have been coasting off the same old stars for too long. Just look at the reaction Batista received upon returning to the company just in time for the 2014 Royal Rumble. For a few moments, most fans were pleased to see him, but such goodwill quickly started to wear off when it became clear he was there to be a huge part of Wrestlemania XXX. Similarly, John Cena has been at the top of WWE cards for close to a decade now, with no signs of taking some time of any time soon. As a result, WWE is suffering, suffocating itself with familiarity, instead of giving fresh faces a chance in the top line mix. There have been exceptions, such as Daniel Bryan's epic rise to the main event, but those are anomalies, when they should be par for the course. There are literally hundreds of wrestlers out there plying their trade who could really be solid additions to the WWE roster right now. Not all of them need to be main event players, but some fresh blood is needed, and this list aims to suggest some ideas on who could fill those spots, making the roster a hell of a lot more robust than it is.
