Although he may not be the most trustworthy of sources (going by his chequered history), Kurt Angle has dropped various hints recently that retirement is in his near future. At the very least, he will be taking a break from wrestling and, at 46 years old, his days are clearly numbered. He has been battling injuries for the longest time and, whilst he has still performed like a legitimate wrestling machine, father time eventually creeps up on everyone. 2016 will also mark the ten year anniversary of his final appearance in WWE. His final match was against Sabu (of all people), on the then-recently rebooted WWE version of ECW. I remember his departure coming as something of a shock, as he was as big a star as the company had at that time. John Cena was still in his infant years as the face of the company at the time and Angle was a guy WWE counted on to perform in big matches. ECW was going to be built around him. In those ten years, a gaggle of superstars have come and gone from WWE. Angle's status as an in-ring performer extraordinaire has meant that he has been able to put on good to great matches with just about anyone, but there are a number of wrestlers he could have created magic with in a WWE ring. Looking at today's roster, there still are. This list may contain just ten potentially awesome Angle matches, but I'm sure it could be double that.
