10 Matches WWE Has To Make For Survivor Series 2019

Brand warfare just got fantasy booked...

By Adam Wilbourn /

Survivor Series 2019 is just over two weeks away and this year's iteration of the brand warfare pay-per-view is arguably one of the most anticipated in recent memory. The addition of NXT in the mix to the usual red versus blue November nonsense, and the theme of them invading the main roster has caused many fans to speculate on some potentially mouthwatering encounters.

The match pitting the women's champions from respective brands against each other has the potential to be match of the night. Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Shayna Baszler is a genuine dream match and impossible to call.

Then there's the tag champs' triple threat with three of the best teams in the company, and the small matter of Rey Mysterio challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

Nevertheless, these are the only three matches confirmed for 24 November, and so with a trio of stacked rosters, let the fantasy booking commence!

An honourable mention has to go to Keith Lee & Ricochet, who would no doubt craft an unforgettable match (just watch their WCPW World Cup match), and if you're wondering why Finn Bálor hasn't made this list, it strikes me that focusing on Finn's rebirth in NXT and feud with Johnny Gargano would make more sense. Plus why would he defend a brand he's only just returned to, and one whose roster he despises?!

NXT invading the main roster has so much potential and therefore these are 10 matches WWE simply has to make for Survivor Series 2019...

10. Adam Cole Vs. Seth Rollins

A fairly obvious place to start considering they have unfinished business following this week's Raw, but Adam Cole against Seth Rollins would be the best option for all involved.

A champion vs. champion vs. champion featuring Brock Lesnar, The Fiend and Adam Cole would be preposterous. If you wanted to expose and bury your NXT champion, that's the match. Instead you want a showcase for Cole akin to his brilliant SmackDown showing against Daniel Bryan.

Seth Rollins is in a difficult place right now having just lost the Universal Championship and the majority of any fan support in a mismanaged feud with Bray Wyatt, what he needs is to remind everyone of his brilliance between the ropes - the brilliance that saw him become the inaugural NXT champion.

A victory for Cole at an event like this against an opponent of Rollins' stature would do wonders for his career, build intrigue for his arrival on the main roster, and attract viewers to Wednesday nights who want to see more from one of the best wrestlers around today.
