That's actually hard to determine nowadays, since his face is a surgery-ravaged disaster, but hopefully you can still grasp the meaning behind the saying: Vince McMahon has lied so often throughout his career as a wrestling promoter that it is safer to bet that he's lying rather than telling the truth, quite frankly.
Be that as it may, is Vince lying right now?
Unquestionably, some might say.
Upon making his sensational return to the WWE board, he insisted on public record that he was happy with the existing management team. They were working hard, and to his satisfaction. Too bloody hard, if anything: Stephanie McMahon was so committed in her duties that she burned out and had to step away from her role to spend more time with her family. That's how much her work ethic impressed Vince, and there's absolutely nothing else to that story whatsoever!
All wrestling promoters work you, even the tousle-haired Mid-South fans who describe all of their wrestlers as great (until they leave and criticise the company, at which point they aren't good enough). Tony Khan has absolutely nothing on Vince McMahon, though. Nobody does (except, well, [snarky joke removed on legal advice]).

10. Vince Pretends To Watch NXT UK
"Are you watching, are you watching, are you watching Vince McMarn? Are you watching Vince McMarn?"
That's how us Brits rather irritatingly enunciate Vince's surname, and that's what they chanted at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool back in January 2019. This chant was heard during the cliché of a main event between Pete Dunne and Joe Coffey, which descended into parody with its over-enthusiastic number of checklist false finishes and shocked kick-out faces.
The idea was that the match was so great that, surely, Vince had no choice but to run it back in the main event of WrestleMania. Are you watching, Vince? Because that's how it's done. Joe Coffey of Gallus is a machine with which to print money!
Vince - or more accurately the person he paid to run his Twitter - responded by posting "Yes, I watched #NXTUKTakeOver. Yes, it was awesome".
Look. He might have. But come on.
Now, the vast majority of fans did laugh this off, but also, in the replies, some took him at his word. One person even asked him to make Pete Dunne champion. Vince took the suggestion on board, considered it, and made Pete Dunne a dog instead.
If you were to have ran into Vince the morning after TakeOver: Blackpool and said "Hey Vince, Billy Bigglesworth killed it in that second match", Vince would have agreed, trying to get out of the conversation as quickly as possible, and replied "Haha yes, and who knows, you might even see Bigglesworth headline WrestleMania some day."
