10 Most Insane Vince McMahon Lies WWE Fans Fell For

'Once In A Lifetime' was an incredible idea, even if it was a compromise.

Yes, the weekly TV show was polished sh*t featuring bland, job-scared wrestlers reciting the worst dialogue imaginable and grabbing a hold, which Vince McMahon was, erm, rather too fond of - but a first and only time meeting between the Rock and John Cena was monster business. Much like Rock Vs. Hollywood Hogan, only with a captivating build, this was gigantic.

The two men did a fabulous job of convincing the audience that the animosity was legit, and even when it was bad, it was mesmerising. The Rock, under the impression that everything he said was funny, was hurtling towards his woozle wozzle phase.

*Puts on baby voice to mock his opponent*

"I'm John Cena, and I'm scared of da Rock! He's going to make me drop a dumpling deuce and turn me into a crayfish cripple!" the Rock didn't say, but it sounds like his brand of b*llocks at the time.

Cena, the dismally unfunny t-shirt baron, was tearing Rock a new ar*ehole on the mic! It was unbelievable telly at its best, and while the Rock was gassed throughout a match so long even Triple H would have balked at it, ultimately, it was the mega blockbuster hit fans had anticipated.

Billed as 'Once In A Lifetime', that was a complete load of sh*te, obviously: both men needed and likely demanded a win, so they ran the thing back at WrestleMania 29, you dumb marks.
