Over the years, there have been several articles written about legitimate tough guys in professional wrestling. While opinions may vary on who the baddest man backstage really is, the topic often generates a lively debate.

However, despite being in the midst of a "women's evolution," there is relatively little discussion about who the most legitimately lethal ladies in WWE are. In an effort to remedy this oversight, it's time to rank the ten most dangerous women currently under contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.

The ranking is based on how these women would likely fare in a legitimate scrap or non-simulated combat situation. Factors that are taken into consideration are (but not limited to) athletic pedigree, martial arts background, and military training.

Other intangibles that will be taken into account, albeit to a lesser degree, are size and age.

Though these individuals are technically entertainers by trade, given their pre-WWE résumés, these are not women one would want to anger in any way.

With that in mind, it's time to take an in-depth look at a group of sports entertainers who also happen to be some of the most dangerous females on the planet.

10. Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair doesn't have a combat sports background, like some of the other women featured. That being said, the 5'7" Knoxville, Tennessee native is an impressive physical specimen and was a standout college athlete.

Over the course of her six-year track and field career, Belair was an All-American while attending the University of Tennessee. The 30-year-old is also a former powerlifter and was a CrossFit competitor, prior to signing with WWE.

Generally speaking, it's best to avoid physical confrontations with high-level athletes like Belair. Her unique combination of speed and power would likely make her a handful for even some of the trained mixed martial artists on our list to deal with.

Moreover, she seems to have a bit of mean streak that comes across in the characters she portrays, which would also come in handy in a real-life altercation.

Strong, athletic, and mean are traits that often make for a very dangerous individual.
