CM Punk was a revolutionary figure in the business, with his 434-day run as WWE Champion laying the groundwork for smaller in stature talent to reach the heights he did in the modern era.

But his reputation is complex, with some in wrestling saying he’s particularly difficult to get along with. He’s certainly a polarising figure amongst talent and fans – you either love him or hate him, with him either being looked upon as a villain or misunderstood. He didn’t abide by the regular norms in wrestling, often clashing with creative and management in WWE whilst continuously standing up for undervalued talent.

Even Punk’s good friend Batista said, concerning the Voice of the Voiceless' WWE exit:

"As a person, Phil Brooks, I love him. I love that guy. We've always gotten along. I've got a lot of respect for him, but I didn't necessarily like the way he left the company and I thought, 'the fans are cheering him like they're martyring him, and he really just walked out on them.' I didn't love that."

If a friend as close as Batista is ambivalent to Punk, what about his enemies? And believe us, despite leaving the business six years ago, he still has a lot of those. Here are teb folks in wrestling who are still ticked off with Punk to this day.
