10 Superstars That WWE Need To Push In 2017
Men, women, tag teams...they're all here, and they all need the trigger pulled.
As the New Year quickly approaches and WWE are gifted the chance to wipe the slate clean (OK so they normally do this after Mania but bear with us a second here), the usual questions are beginning to rear their heads.
Who will be able to make the jump into the A-Leagues? Who will win titles? What feuds will emerge? And, most importantly, which superstars will the WWE finally pull the trigger on and give some proper pushes to?
Over the next few pages, we're going to suggest some routes that could see some of the company's most underutilised names be brought firmly into the spotlight where they belong. Please note: for the benefit of this not going fully off the rails, we've kept it to main roster, so no NXT, and yes, we have cheated and included tag teams as single entities. We're good to you like that. Let's roll...
10. Jack Gallagher
What's this? A cruiserweight that WWE have actually let bring his own gimmick in and do something a bit different? (Don't argue with us, that announced interruption thing was absolutely blinding). Jack can talk, his shtick stands out a mile in his division (in a good way) and, as anyone that watched the CWC tournament can attest, the dude can seriously wrestler. He could prove to be a linchpin of the WWE cruiserweight division, and the time to push him hard is now well upon us.
Booking Idea: Have him be a total heel, interrupt matches, disrespect everyone, showboat like the legend he is and, after a couple of months or so, have him take the cruiserweight title off the also ace Rich Swann. Gallagher should walk into Mania with that title around his waist, or at the very least, get the most gentlemanly entrance ever.
