10 Things We Learned From Roman Reigns On 'Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast'

He wants Seth's spot as the best wrestler in the world.

The latest episode of the 'Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast' saw Roman Reigns chat about his experiences since winning the 2015 Royal Rumble; from the fans vehemently turning against him in the wake of that victory, to competing in his first ever WrestleMania main event - as well as commenting on the general atmosphere of the WWE locker room. Reigns last appearance on Roberts' show couldn't have come at a worse time. The interview was recorded prior to that fateful Royal Rumble, but aired shortly after the event - leading to a considerable negative backlash over Roman's seemingly naive demeanour. This time, Reigns comes across in a far more positive light. He's humble and happy, but still has a lot of interesting things to say about his fellow wrestlers, life on the road, and career aspirations...

10. The 2015 Royal Rumble Was The Best And Worst Moment Of His Career

Roman described winning the 2015 Royal Rumble as simultaneously the best and worst night of his career, and considering the vociferous crowd reaction that met his victory, it's easy to see why. No matter your opinion on the booking of Reigns, it's hard not to sympathise with the man himself. Winning the Rumble has been the biggest achievement of his career to date (aside from main-eventing WrestleMania, maybe), but it'll forever be tainted by the extremely negative response he received. One of the most admirable qualities that came across throughout the interview was Reigns' optimism, and he even managed to look on the bright side of that particular PPV, stating "It was still my night".
