10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Hornswoggle

That little b*stard!

By Jack G King /

On September 28th, Dylan 'Hornswoggle' Postl was suspended for 30 days for breaking WWE's Wellness policy. Now that the inevitable"growth hormone" jokes have died down, it's time to look at the other low points of his 9 year career - many of which still live long in the memory of us long-suffering wrestling fans. In fairness to Hornswoggle, he's very good at his job - it just so happens that his job often revolves around some of the worst angles of the 21st century. Planning to waste months of Chavo Guererro's career in a series of endless "comedy" matches? Have him feud with Hornswoggle. Need an emergency illegitimate son for Vince McMahon? Hornswoggle's the man for the job. Excruciating DX comedy segment? Hornswoggle. Anonymous Raw GM? Hornswoggle. Throughout Postl's history with WWE, he's proven himself a magnet for such cringeworthy incidents, but has managed to stick around regardless. Once his 30 day suspension is over, it seems only a matter of time until the next ill-advised angle is thrown his way...

10. His Debut As 'That Little B******!'

Hornswoggle first appeared as part of the Smackdown brand in 2006, and would attack opponents after Finlay's matches. Yet to be named, but under the now-familiar leprechaun gimmick, he was simply dubbed the "little b******" by the terrified announce team. Obviously this name didn't fly for very long, and he was swiftly renamed in February 2007. His character also began to soften; originally a feral, almost animalistic creature, he gradually began to embrace the more comedic antics he is known for today.
