Congratulations to Rusev (Miroslav Barnyashev) and Lana (Catherine Jo Perry)! Monday morning, the news broke on TMZ that the longtime couple - who first became an item in NXT - are engaged to be married. While WWE's handling of the situation on Monday's Raw (Rusev was beaten and emasculated in a puzzling segment) seemed less than well-intentioned, hopefully the happy couple can look forward to years of personal and professional success. Rusev and Lana aren't the first on-screen/off-screen wrestling couple and they won't be the last. For many years, men and women who have been paired up on television - and who have subsequently spent much time together - have fallen for each other and ended up tying the knot (sometimes at the expense of other relationships). Other times, things have happened in the opposite order - husband and wife pairs who are already married are put together on TV, and the result is usually good chemistry.
