10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Beat John Cena

The unlikely conquerors of the Face Who Runs The Place.

Once upon a time, the idea of John Cena losing was about as believable as CM Punk returning to wrestling or Vince McMahon stepping down from WWE. Well, both of those things have happened, so John clearly isn't as invincible as we first thought.

Whilst Cena defeats are rare (and clean ones even rarer), plenty of big names have scored Ws over Big Match John.

Randy Orton, Triple H, Batista, Brock Lesnar, and The Undertaker are just some of the legends who have taken Cena down, but what about those with less name value who have done the exact same thing?

The following ten names all have singles victories over Cena. Whilst men like Curtis Axel and Frankie Kazarian have also beaten him, those wins don't count for this list because they were by disqualification.

We're only interested in those who properly won their matches with The Champ, although there is more than a small amount of cheating involved in a few of these victories.

Let this list be an inspiration - if these guys can beat John Cena in a wrestling match, then you can achieve the unthinkable too.

10. R-Truth

It must be a honour to face your childhood hero in a wrestling ring, as R-Truth has found out multiple times.

The former K-Kwik has squared off against Cena many times throughout his career, most notably in a one-on-one singles match for the WWE Championship at the Capitol Punishment Pay-Per-View in 2011.

Cena was victorious on that night, but Truth would wait just eight days to get his revenge. The two men squared off in the main event of Raw in a Tables match, and Cena looked to have the bout in the bag. That was, until CM Punk came out and distracted Cena, allowing Truth to spear The Champ through a table for the victory.

Truth had previously beaten Big Match John by DQ on Raw the month before, but this is his first and only legitimate win over The Peacemaker. Did he need some help? Yes, but this was a no disqualification match, so it's all above board and R-Truth should be incredibly proud of achieving his boyhood dream.

Unfortunately, his victory was ever so slightly overshadowed by something called "The Pipebomb" that happened immediately afterwards. Talk about stealing someone's thundrer.
