What were some of the things you wanted for Christmas? That PS4 Pro? Some new clothes? How about Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins as the Raw Tag-Team Champions? It's doubtful anybody asked Santa Claus for that one, but it happened on the Christmas Day edition of Raw anyway, and it was weird. It also wasn't the original plan.

Jordan and Rollins were never meant to team up at all. In fact, WWE's creative team had a different man in mind for Seth that would have gone a long way to making up for Dean Ambrose being benched by injury. Find out in this week's article just which 'Club' Rollins was going to be part of before those pesky writers changed their minds.

Joining that fact are others about Chris Jericho, The Rock, Triple H and Aldo Montoya. Admit it, you totally didn't see that last name coming. There's also some insight into Daniel Bryan's mind; his story reveals why he hated wearing those 'Yes! Yes! Yes!' t-shirts on television.

New year, new facts. Let's dive in...

10. Bayley Is Aware 2017 Wasn't Her Best Year

Bayley's sugary sweet NXT character hasn't translated well to the main roster. Creative will get the blame for that from most fans, but the wrestler herself is looking inward to see what went wrong and promising that 2018 won't be the same. It better not be, because we can't stomach any more 'This Is Your Life' pain.

On Twitter, Bayley said she aimed to find her way again this year. Kendo Stick matches, a rotten feud with Alexa Bliss and even some boos from fans rocked Bayley in 2017, so much so that she's already looking to put that 12 month period behind her. Nobody can blame her for trying to do that.

Fingers crossed 2018 is more fruitful for Bayley. If WWE's creative minds can find a way to bring her natural energy and love for pro wrestling to the fore (away from sympathy-sapping backstage interviews) then they'd finally have some of that NXT magic on Raw.

Forget 2017, but don't forget why Bayley ruled in the first place.
