10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Jan 5)

9. Enzo Amore Checked Himself Out Of Hospital Before Raw

Enzo Amore

It's already been reported that Enzo Amore attended this week's Raw despite being sick. Once he got to the arena in Miami, Florida, the Cruiserweight Champ was given a quick once-over by WWE doctors and told he must return to a local medical facility. OK, so they called it a hospital like everyone else this time.

According to PWInsider, WWE officials didn't know that Amore had actually checked himself out of hospital in the first place. In other words, docs in Miami hadn't given him clearance to leave and advised that he stay put in bed rather than attempting to go wrestle against Cedric Alexander. Once WWE clapped eyes on Enzo, the match had no chance of happening.

Enzo was mentioned in a couple of segments during the show to make up for being pulled. Sick or not, he deserves credit for hauling himself out of bed and travelling to Raw. Vince McMahon will love the fact that his Cruiser Champ at least tried to make it to work.
