I'm a massive Seth Rollins fan, so the news that he's had to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to a serious injury comes as a huge blow. I have no doubt many of you feel the same way, but take a quick look at Twitter, and you'll no doubt notice a number of WWE Superstars clearly rubbing their hands together with glee at the prospect of being able to fill the void left by Rollins' six to nine month departure. It may seem heartless, but you can actually appreciate to some extent where these guys are coming from. When any top name leaves the company for some reason, it creates a huge number of possibilities and opportunities for those in the locker room who feel they've been neglected or overlooked. Seth Rollins being forced out of action is sure to lead to a major status quo shift in the WWE, and there are a long list of Superstars ready, willing, and more than able to step up and take advantage of his absence. Whether that involves the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is irrelevant in some ways; just the fact that the company's top heel is now gone opens the door for these ten men to find major success.
