10 WWE Title Changes That Shocked The World
Title switches you just didn't believe.
Standing tall and sending thousands of fans wild simply by thrusting his hands in the air repeatedly, new WWE Champ Daniel Bryan reached the end of his journey upon winning the title at WrestleMania XXX. Meanwhile, some were shocked that WWE had vindicated Bryan's immense popularity by putting the belt on him.
At the same time, there was a sense that the title switch had to happen in 2014, because people were crying out for the change. That simply cannot be said for any of the WWE Title changes going under the microscope here.
The best title switches are often those that come completely out of left field and leave jaws on the floor. They don't always work out, but it's hard to criticise WWE for attempting a surprise. It would be a far bigger problem if there were none at all.
Whilst it's true that WWE softening their approach towards the importance of a lengthy reign over the years has hurt title credibility, it's also true that this outlook has fostered some of wrestling's most astonishing moments, for better or worse...
