10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Too Broken To EVER Be Fixed
Baszler, Gable, Tozawa: who else has fallen too far down the hill to reach the top?
Being a professional wrestler is a real roll of the dice.
While skill and hard work can pay off, you've also got to be incredibly lucky, have good connections and get on the good side of your superiors, as they hold your career in their hands.
Despite this, a career in WWE shouldn't be so scary, as if things aren't working out, you can always reinvent yourself. The likes of The New Day, Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns and even Stone Cold Steve Austin prove that you don't have to hit it out of the park on your first attempt to find success.
Sadly, that cannot be the case for everyone, as sometimes the damage done to your credibility, booking, and character is enough to stifle your potential and keep you more broken than Matt Hardy in Impact.
The following wrestlers came into the company with a tonne of potential, and while they've each proven themselves to be worthwhile employees, WWE has ruined all chance of a main event push for them. Fans can rest easy knowing that they're making the best money of their career, but sadly, their position in the company is too broken to be fixed...
10. The Viking Raiders
The Viking Raiders, War Machine, War Raiders, The Viking Experience, whatever you want to call them, it's fair to say that their time in WWE is a far cry from the pulse-pounding time they had on the independent circuit.
While that can be said for many performers, it feels particularly painful here, as WWE could have really used them to ignite the tag team division.
During their time in NXT, fans got a taste of the havoc that this powerhouse team could bring to the company. They'd already torn it up in ROH and NJPW, and now they were finding great success on the developmental brand. But, once they made it to the main roster, it didn't take long for creative to start messing with their credibility.
A Raw Tag Team Championship reign aside, this team were completely mishandled. Their introduction was a clear sign of the times to come as audiences were instantly hostile to their absurd renaming as The Viking Experience, and soon their booking followed.
Feuding with Street Profits could have been great for them, but the goofy competitions, dire Backlash scripted match and pilling losses sought to ruin whatever potential they had. Erik and Ivar may have recently found their way back into the title picture, but it seems that the damage may already be too great.
