What's the one thing that every single member of the WWE Universe has in common? Family. How have WWE ensured they garner a reaction from their Universe in a storyline more times than they would care to mention? Have a family at the centre of any commotion! WWE is all about connecting with its Universe, and one of the easiest ways to do this is to play the family card; calling on those everyday scenarios that happen in every household and ramping them up to 11. This is a tactic that has been used quite literally since the beginning of time and doesnt seem to be letting up. After all, family storylines are often the most compelling inside the ring due to the backstories you can create; just look at The Undertaker and Kane as an example of this happening... Here are 12 examples of when WWE tricked you into thinking Superstars were actually related...
12. Nunzio And Jamie Noble
Oh, you forgot? Nunzio and Jamie Noble - yes, one half of J & J Security - are cousins... Nunzio was introduced to the WWE Universe as Noble's on-screen cousin by attacking Crash Holly after the 24/7 Hardcore legend had defeated the future security guard. Given that Noble, accompanied by Nidia at the time, was portraying a trailer trash gimmick, while Nunzio was playing a character with a passing resemblance to the mob, possibly inspired by Guido and Nunzio in the Myth Adventures books, it's fair to say that the pair were part of one hell of a family tree. After a short feud with Holly, Nunzio reformed the Full Blooded Italians with Johnny Stamboli and Chuck Palumbo; while Noble and Nadia hit unparalleled heights such as that horrid indecent proposal match - where if Jamie won this singles match against Billy Gunn at Vengeance 2003 he would get to sleep with Torrie Wilson- and a blindfold match with the pair pitted against each other at No Way Out 2004. Proof of their lack of kinship is shown by the pair's real names. Noble is played by James Gibson from West Virginia, while James Maritato from New York portrayed Nunzio.
